Runner photos
by Nilla Nim

Guaranteed flattering, thoughtfully composed running portraits — with creative solutions where you want them.

Your run, your world

— let me show it.

  • I focus on capturing the most advantageous running movements. I pay close attention to every detail, so you can look at each photo and genuinely feel good about it.

  • If you’d like to, we can also bring creative, unique ideas into your session (such as light painting, special locations, or any other ideas you’d love to try), so your photos truly become one-of-a-kind.
  • I help you prepare for the photoshoot in advance — we’ll talk through what to wear, what shoes and accessories to bring, and what to pay attention to, so you can arrive feeling confident and ready.

  • Each photoshoot is tailored to you — your pace, your mood, your way of running. It’s not just about the photos, but about the experience as well.
  • Even with an agreed concept, the photoshoot stays flexible — there’s always room to try new ideas if something inspiring comes up on location.

My goal is that you’ll enjoy seeing yourself in these photos just as much as you enjoy the experience of running itself.

Running Photography Services

Creative, personalized running portraits of you — based on your own ideas or what we dream up together.

Photography for running teams and clubs — as well as informal running groups and friends who run together.

Photography of running events, races and community runs — out on the course.

Individual Photoshoot

Creative, personalized running portraits of you — based on your own ideas or what we dream up together.

A running photoshoot of approximately two hours, where you are fully in focus — the photos are all about you as a runner. These two hours are entirely yours. No field, no cut-off time — you can show your very best, so we can create the kind of photos of you that you’ll truly love seeing of yourself.

You’re welcome to choose the location, or you can leave the decision to me — the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in the environment, whether that’s out on the trails, in the city, on the track, or even indoors.

Outdoor sessions usually take place around sunrise or early morning, and around late afternoon or sunset. We can arrange weekday sessions, and — depending on availability — weekends as well. Please note that many races and running events take place at weekends, where I’m often present as a photographer or volunteer, so it may happen that the first mutually suitable weekend date is a few weeks ahead.
We can always agree on a “rain date” as well, in case the conditions mean we need to postpone the original session.

You’re very welcome to bring your own concept or theme for the shoot — but if you don’t have anything specific in mind, that’s absolutely fine too. I have plenty of ideas and creative projects I’d love to realise, so I’m sure we’ll find a direction you’ll feel happy with.

The theme and location will also influence what kind of running kit and gear will work best — we’ll talk this through in detail beforehand.

Within three weeks after the photoshoot, you’ll receive the edited images digitally (by email or via a large-file transfer service).

I guarantee at least 10 finished photos, delivered in web-optimised sizes for Facebook and Instagram. Any images you select can also be provided in full resolution, in case you’d like to print them.

If you’re interested in an individual photoshoot, it’s worth getting in touch even if you don’t yet have a clear idea about the concept or the timing. We can talk through what you’d like to use the photos for and what options you have — and from there we can shape a plan together, so the photos you’re dreaming of can become real.

Team Portfolio

Photography for running teams and clubs — as well as informal running groups and friends who run together.

Photography for running clubs, sports teams, amateur running groups and communities of people who simply enjoy running together. This can include coverage of group training sessions or training camps, as well as individual portraits of team members in a consistent visual style, if you wish.

A unified visual look is striking and expressive — and photos that reflect this can do a lot to help present and promote your team.

Team photography can take place both outdoors and indoors (or a combination of the two). If you have access to a gym or a clean studio-like space, team photos and/or individual portraits (full-body or headshots) can be created independently of the weather. Outdoor images can be taken at your home base, at a favourite training location, or at a special venue chosen for the shoot.

Within three weeks after the photoshoot, you’ll receive the edited images digitally (by email or via a large-file transfer service).

I guarantee delivery of the agreed team images, plus — if requested — a set number of individual photos depending on the size of the team.* All images are provided in web-optimised sizes for Facebook and Instagram, and selected photos are also supplied in full resolution if you plan to print them.

*Photography for new members who join later can also be arranged, so your team portfolio can stay complete, consistent and up-to-date over time.

Dear teams, coaches and team leaders:
photos that show your unity communicate togetherness, identity and professionalism — and they look great on your website, social media, and even on the walls of club rooms and changing areas.
Feel free to get in touch to discuss the details — I’ll be happy to help.

Running event Photography

Photography of running events, races and community runs — out on the course.

Over the past few years I’ve gained experience photographing road races, trail races, community runs and charity running events alike.
In agreement with the organiser, I photograph the entire field from the designated locations — either those specified by the organiser or, if left to me, locations I select myself — from the first runner to the very last one out on the course.

The edited digital images are delivered within two calendar days, in the resolution agreed in advance — and, if requested, including the event or race logo — via online file transfer.

During the 2026 season I will only be taking on a very limited number of race and event photography bookings. If you’re interested in working together, please feel free to get in touch via my contact details.

“I always look forward to seeing the images after a race whenever she’s the one behind the camera.”

Nilla is a highly creative and professional photographer. She invests a great deal of energy in continuous self-development, which clearly shows in the quality of her work. She notices the potential even in the smallest details and has an abundance of ideas.
Her clear, direct guidance made the photoshoot feel smooth and easy, and I genuinely had a great time. Thanks to her advice, I always knew what to do and how to do it — yet I could still remain completely myself in the photos.
She is kind, supportive, and I wholeheartedly recommend her. She truly brought out the very best in the images, and I absolutely loved the final photos.
Eszter, runner

I’m very grateful to Nilla for her patience and for the way she was fully focused on finding special backgrounds and colours that truly completed the images throughout the shoot.
At the beginning, in the city setting, I felt quite shy and I was at a loss — but once we moved out into the forest and I started to feel more at home, I was able to relax and really become part of the process. We laughed a lot along the way.
Thank you for the experience!
Palma

Thanks to Nilla, truly great photos are taken of runners in beautiful settings.
I always look forward to seeing the images after a race whenever she’s the one behind the camera.
Csaba

Nilla sees what matters — and brings out the best.
